Monday Musing

Hello Everyall!
It have probably occured to you why I have been MIA for a couple of weeks. I’m pushing my luck with the mobile for the mean time while I’m waiting in vain with my internet provider. Sadly, that’s the sole reason. Oh how I miss you guys! ( hope some misses me too! 😉 ) I’ve been so overwhelmed with stashy of

and chris of fivezero for checking me. I’m so touched with the gesture. Hugs to you my sissums!

To start my week ahead, I would like to share with you these rules that I came across the net a few months back. I decided to keep it because I believe in all of them right away. Once a wise man said to me that to be able to have respect, you should earn it. What a good example would be all that is written in this list. Sometimes we have to be reminded of these things, simple yet so powerfull to be able to value and give worth of what surrounds us. For us to have a better relationship with our being as well as with others and you’ll see how great and peacefull life can be.

Monday Musings

Happy Monday Everyone!
How could I be so thankful of the chance given to me each day. The chance to top off my yesterday, to learn and pick up what the day had given me and apply it on today but make it even better. What about you? What life had brought you? Have you stop and smell the roses or you just pass by?

Sometimes chances were waisted because we deal with our hurts so much. We got scared of trying anew but little did we know that if only we made that step to come out of the fail, the pain or the hurt is a chance to be able to renew ourself again. To make another better one. Go out, breath the air for every day, you’ll see that sun shining.

Monday Musings: Liebster on a double

Happy Monday!
How did your weekends went? I decided to incorporate my Liebster Award into my Monday Musings because this is a celebration of friendship. Being acknowledged by your job means that you are doing it right. You have been an inspiration. What a better way to repay is to give back the kindness and spreading the love.
My week has been pretty busy so I wasn’t able to post my foodie weekend. Not to mention that until now my internet connection is a total mess. My apologies to my blogging family that I can’t catch up. I’m trying my very best to visit and leave my well wishes as much as my cellphone could accommodate. With this, I owe deniselyra so much to keep this standing for so long.
Before I proceed, I would like to thank first this two wonderful Filipinas for acknowledging my effort and nominating me for this award.
Deniselyra who shares her love for Korean products, lives her life by sharing her wonderful travels and journey and a passion for books. Don’t miss the opportunity of getting to know her.
Cheonsadiana for sharing her knowledge in skincare and giving out best advice based on a personal experience. If you have problems on combating oiliness which is very common to us Filipinas, try reaching out in her blogs. It might do wonders for you.
First, the rules:
* Thank the blogger who nominated you with a link back to his/her blog.
* Answer the questions asked by the nominator.
* Nominate 5-10 bloggers
* Create 10 questions for the nominees to answer.

Here are deniselyra’s questions.
1. What is the number 1 beauty product on your wishlist?
That would have be a Tom Ford red lippy.
2. What is your favorite beauty/makeup hack?
My eyelashes are very thin and short. To make it fuller, I sweep mascara towards my nose instead of applying it upwards. This technique would also make your eyes look bigger.
3. Favorite place in the world?
I feel so much connected with Italy. Maybe I lived there prior my present life.
4. Unlimited access to skincare products or makeup products?
Unlimited access to skincare because I’m a sucker for youthful looking skin.
5. Would you rather type/text or write by hand?
I prefer writing by hand because I feel the words sticks more in my brain as I do the strokes.
6. What’s the first makeup item you ever brought?
If my memory serves me right, it’s a red burgundy lipstick from Maybelline.
7. Are you a homebody or do you love going out?
I’m a homebody person.
8. Do you play any sport?
The first and last that I involved myself deeply into sports is when I became a member of our Rowing team in college.
9. Beach or Mountain?
I’m a beach baby.
10. Any exciting plans for your blog we should be watching out for?
I’ve slowly incorporated things that I love in my blog. Not just solely focus on budget friendly makeups and skincare. I also would love to include food and places to eat though I have started my foodie weekend a few weeks ago. As I said, I want it to be multifunctional.

Thank you again denise for that wonderful set of questions.
Now on we go with cheonsadiana’s .
1. What is your favorite thing to do when you have free time?
Aside from reading blogs on my reader, I always bake.
2. What’s the fear you’ve recently overcome?
I have deep fears. Not just a plain thing or place but something about the future or perspective. Slowly I battled a few, can’t say that I completely won but I believe, I will!
3. What’s your all time favorite dessert?
I scream for ICE CREAM!!
4. Any skincare tip?
I use to gently rub ice cube on my face before I wash it. I feel that it makes my skin finer.
5. Any makeup tip?
Same with my answer on denise’s number 2 question.
6. Do you watch Youtube videos? Who is your favorite Youtuber?
I had a post about my favorite Youtuber, you can find it here

7. Facebook or Instagram and why?

Instagram. As Cat said, they all look like a catalogue to me.

8. Any advice to bloggers?

Write with your heart. Your love for  what you are doing will lead the way.

9. What’s your biggest pet peeve?

People who gives me the attitude.

10. Which culture would you like to experience?

Korean and Japanese.

11. What’s your favorite quote?

See it here

Thank you Cheonsadiary for the fun questions.

I decided to skip the nominations since most that I know have already done this a couple of times but then again let us not forget the main rule here, spread the love and kindness to these beautiful Ladies! Don’t forget to check them out!

Enjoy the rest of the week!

Good Day Beautiful People!

Everytime my day didn’t turn out right, I always tell my self “Hey, tomorrow is a new one!”
At the dawn of the day, everything ends. I want all those worrying to go with it and start my tomorrow anew. It’s not that we have to leave it at that and not to resolve but not to sulk ourselves with it. Sometimes, the more we exhaust and indulge the less that we find the solution. But if we pause in the midst of it, take a deep breath and contemplate soon we will be able to find what is best. Every morning that we wake up is something that we have to value because it’s a chance to live everything again, recall what is bad and learn from it. A chance to share our life’s triumphs and be an inspiration.

Let us all feel the morning wind. It’s a new day, another chance to be awesome.

Monday Musings

Hello my Lovelies! How is your weekend? I was on the verge of losing hope with my wifi connections. My fear of not being able to post just terrifies me. Just for this, and I don’t know why. Well, as I were saying, the fault falls over my intermittent wifi connection of not being able to respond well to comments and update myself with my reader. My apologies.

My idea to alot my Mondays to be an inspirational post is to serve as a breaker. I know that we indulge ourselves to so many things that we seldom find time to give one to ours. So this I give to us as our simple ME time introspect wise.
I’m happy that I got to give positive vibes to people. It’s not my intention to acclaim fame because of that, neither that I own a problem-less happy life. I got a share of life’s mishaps and I believe it even surpassed the quota level just for this year. (currently smiling at that last phrase while typing this)
Since I’ve got myself into blog, my mere mindset was just to share, review and have a little voice to be heard by the world. Although I expected to gain more friends alongside, it didn’t occur to me that this would keep my sanity. I should say that life has it’s way of overwhelming you. It’s the way how you take everything that makes it different.
I really want to share to others, just by making your presence felt worth much. A simple act of kindness wouldn’t be a loss to you but would be a treasure to many.
Share your happiness, share your SMILE. 🙂 Who knows how this simple gesture could change someone’s life.
Now, on to a great week ahead my wonderful people.

Monday Musings

I’ve always wanted the start of my week with a happy, positive one. I want to surround myself with good things not only to keep me going but also to be of a reminder that there is more to life. 😊

Weekends were spent mostly looking for a new place and this time we chose an out of the city location. I’m pretty much excited about this because my other sister will be coming along with us. So basically, we will be living in the same neighborhood. A lot of major decisions made, and I still have some pending plans for my blog still left untouched. It’s still in scribbles and I haven’t find time yet to sort my materials so there will be some delays. I’m so pepped up with all the things going on, not to mention we would be having an out of town come end of the month to this

I want to do everything slowly but with a sure pace. I’m still in awe with the kind words and inspiration you have given me on my prior post that build a strong will in me to always give my best foot forward. In times that I find myself overwhelmed with life, I seek comfort in my siblings. So if there are days that it rained hard on my path, I know by the end of that journey the sun shines at its peak welcoming me with open arms.

Hope you all have a great week ahead my Lovelies. Let’s do this!

Maraming Salamat

You might be wondering what Maraming Salamat means. It’s our Tagalog word for Thank You!

My week’s start is off to a very bright one when I saw this.

Maraming Salamat po! From the bottom of my heart to all you, my wonderful blogging family. For showing your love and support or simply just being there. This baby has been my source of strength, sanity and happiness. Knowing that you’re on the other side of the world, still including me in your daily life has never been such a fulfilling feeling.

Again, *hugs and kisses* to you all. My success is yours!

Post a Quote Challenge Day 3

Happy Weekend All!

This would be the last day for my challenge and I would like to pay homage to our very own Salawikain (proverbs) In our culture, we had so much proverbs passed on by our great ancestors that we lived by. With a heritage so rich, this were carried on in every family as a golden rule. Some might have still live with it specially to the traditional type like ours. Out of the many, I picked this because I totally could relate and admits that  still follows unconsciously.

Habang maiksi ang kumot, matuto kang mamaluktot

In English translation:

When the blanket is short, learn to curl up underneath.

I believe that we Filipinos are known for it’s resiliency. I give a big credit to my roots for this. The ability to stand strong amidst the storm. The ability to adjust to our surroundings and live with it.

My set of nominees for this day are the following:

Let’s not forget The Rules:

  1. Post 1 quote a day for 3 days (can be your own or from other sources)
  2. Nominate 3 bloggers to participate per post
  3. Thank the person who nominated you

On that final note, my deep appreciation to Zovesta, a beautiful girl with an equally beautiful heart. Check out her blog with her sought after make up tips. Spread the Love ❤️

I had a total laugh when I run my preview of this recent post and see this..

Indeed! You need to curl up if it’s a shirt. 😂
