My Blogger Recognition Award

I’m so thankful for all the acknowledgement that this blogging community has given me. Be by exchange of thoughts, long discussions or simply stopping by means the world to me. To be given a nomination… is just priceless.

I wouldn’t want a Thank You to be a cliche on this award  giving moment but instead I would like you all to see this person as what I see her, of how she has given an impact to a simple individual, who has given hopes to every aspiring bloggers and build solidarity to the institution ones. (a little bending of a rule wouldn’t hurt right?)

Fivezero I would say for me, is a nail polish librarian as I known her. Her vast collection of nail polishes from the year that we don’t care up to the present made me wonder if she’s living with a wall to wall display of it. Call her unique, but she has this unusual way of doing what we would have in a common way which just makes her a standout and a sought after blogger. Her knowledge of everything makes you think if aside from nail polishes, if she really is a librarian? But what I admire her the most is the way she exchanges ideas, sharing her unbiased thoughts is unparalleled.

The Blogger Recognition Award Rules

  • Write a post explaining why you started blogging along with few tips.
  • Nominate some of your fellow bloggers.
  • Comment on their blogs to let them know you’ve nominated them.

I started blogging just this year of February. To date, it’s been 6 months. My sister persisted me on investing my love for writing and do the blog though both are all different. I chose the latter instead on pursuing a career in writing because of the freedom in expressing your thoughts, freedom on choosing what you want to develop  and most no time frame. Still, you are responsible for the course of your action here, though freedom in so many aspects is very much practiced, be liable enough to give your readers a worth of their time. Don’t just post but give time to do a research, be aware and inspire ( there, some tips now being spilled) not just copy and paste.

Thinking back, I can’t help but feel emotional of what my blog have grown to. Initially I’m not ashamed to say that I started out without any funds. Though it’s not primarily the issue here as long as you have available materials to work with, ideas and tips to share, that wouldn’t be a problem. I don’t own a stash of makeups nor have a lucrative collection of skin care to share so my sister and I decided to have a low-buy scheme. I chose what I feel is a necessity not a need. But let’s be honest, the ones that gathers most attention are the hip, the new, the lemmings.

I have this mindset to make our local products be at least, have a portion of recognition to the world. So it’s a struggle. There are so many things that have come my way but as what they say, chase your dream. If you are willing, there will always be a way. In this months, I got to know people, share interests with them, bring them to my everyday life and be inspired of them. My word of advice for all those budding bloggers, I’m not a pro but I’m saying these based on my personal account and I would really love to share it with you, if you don’t mind. 😊

Put your love on your blog. Not all days are a bed of roses in blogging. Not all times your head outpours with ideas. But if you have the love for your work, you strive, you persevere to make everything work.

Don’t be intimidated with what surrounds you. I might say that some are full of elegant, up to date materials to share. Some may have over the top followers or likes but like everyone else, they started like all of us, though some might not have the same struggle as you still at some point in time we are all equal. We are all different individuals, your style may not be like them but there are  people out there who would want your take on things. You might find it hard at first, I believe it’s always been like that but eventually your blog would come together.

It’s a learning process. Sometimes the best learnings is the experience itself. Don’t be afraid to think out of the box. Our readers hungers for the new. If your post didn’t make it well who knows maybe a few months onwards it will be acknowledge by the world. At least now you know they read it first from YOU.

I want you all my dear readers to share your advices, insights in the comment below. This would serve as my tag. I would like you all to be a part of this.

Much Love! ❤️

Blogging is the new and empowered movement that creates a major influence to the intelligent society of today. I let myself be the channel of my beloved homeland and share to the world that beauty doesn't divide but unites. In this blog, I will be sharing some wonderful finds that are new to our market and other neighboring countries in Asia. As well as my love for a very particular one which are lipsticks. I would also want YOU my readers to join ME as I go find quality products that wouldn't put a hole in our pockets. So, sit back and enjoy as I do the WORK.

  2. I love reading about Filipino beauty products / brands or even things that are available to you from mainstream brands!
I haven’t spent any money on my blog either, as you know… due to No-Buy! But I am considering upgrading so that I can customize the blog layout a bit.
So glad to get to know you better! 😀 Blogging has been such an amazing forum to bring people together who otherwise may not have had a chance to “meet”. ❤

    1. Thank you Stashy! I really love your Stash, it’s like having gone to a chocolate factory with all those wonderful things so filling to the eyes! 😊 Subconsciously I know, I also want to own one, anyways I’m just a girl. You is what I call the epitomy of “loving your work” I’m always full of knowledge whenever we speak. Your very unassuming, taking care of your relationship with co-bloggers is very infectious.
Thank you for taking time to read my post. I’m working on it now, I mean give more time than before, gathering my materials. Hopefully come end of this year, my blogging plans would push through. 😊
I hope someday you could try out our local brands as well.

  4. You are doing so well with your blog. I really like the honesty in your writing.
I totally appreciate you being budget wise with your blog – it can be so easy to be tempted into spending big bucks just to post something that is “hot” for the moment.
Looking forward to your future posts 🙂

    1. Thank you very much.:)
Once it passed my mind if I could make it. I mean, at one point you’ll feel that everything wouldn’t cooperate, your ideas nor your materials. But the good thing is though we talk most often about makeups, and even if it’s common to all, we give it a little twist, give it a little variation because we come from a different state, different country or culture thus making a common topic a lot more interesting because we have unique point of views. May it be from an Asian, a girl with freckles or a mother of two.:)
I love this family because though we’re from different parts of the world, our interest binds us and our goal which is to be Beautiful regardless our physical attributes, makes us one.
