Picks of the Month

The summer heat officially kicks in for the month of April and all I can think of is “light” like the airy feeling. Much to my surprise that in this month I have religiously been using makeups. Nothing that you could possibly connect with my current feels, right? So let me elaborate further for better understanding. ✴wink✳

Pond’s Flawless White BB Cream –

Actually the summer heat is really irritating. So much so that aside from slacking you wouldn’t want to wear anything in your face at all. So we will be ditching foundations for awhile and switch to something lighter like BB Creams. I know there are a lot in the market but my heart was won over by Pond’s because of the whitening ingredient Gen-Activ. So while you are enjoying using the cream, there is no worries of layering multiple products to cover and protect your face. This also has SPF 30 PA++ which is a must in this summer season.

Ever Bilena Lip and Cheek Stain –

Though I often used this as a lip tint, this time it’s the other way around. Yes, on the cheeks. I love the moussy/gel type of consistency it has so using it as my go to blush is an easy peasy application. It also helps that it is in tube that you could control the right amount of product to use. Though it’s straight out red tint, it gives just the right amount of flush on the cheeks ( not overpowering) making it look so au naturele.

KJM Lip and Cheek Tint –

Yes, another lip tint. I’m pretty sure that you’ve guessed it all right. The formulation of KJM spreads entirely on my lips which separates her to other lip tint that I used. It doesn’t settle in the center only or on the sides but glides just like a Lipstick would cover. The best of all is the longevity this lip tint gives which solves me the entire day.

San San False Effect Mascara-

I admit that I totally neglect using mascaras just because the hassle of taking them off but not with this. It has been with me since I featured it in my Collab $20 Makeup Haul Challenge of last year. I must say that it really does the job of giving that false lashes effect. I love that it’s not giving me raccoon eyes unlike other mascaras that claimed to be waterproof. Also, my lashes are soft to touch and not stiff.

Colorpop Ultra Matte Lipstick in Clueless –

I chose this to be my summer lipstick because of it’s naturally pink color. Contrary to other liquid Lipstick that I used, Colorpop didn’t dry my lips and is very much lightweight. It’ll really compliments that summer skin glow.

Though this last three products aren’t makeup related it still falls on the light feeling that it gave me.

Head and Shoulders Smooth and Silky Shampoo –

I never really dare to switch brands. Since Head and Shoulders is the only shampoo that controlled my dandruff and the occasional flakes. So even though I switched, I make sure that just the variant. I know it’s summer and it’s hot but I really love the “smooth and silkyness to touch” feel this shampoo gives. Making me wear my hair down always. Not to mention the sweet smelling fragrance that’s really a need for me now that it’s summer. By the way that scent reminds me of Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea.

Cream Silk Dry Rescue Conditioner –

I swear this is the only conditioner that resolved the dry ends of my hair. I vow not to look at any other brands again. I also loved this together with Head and Shoulders Smooth and Silky equals to a healthy shiny locks. They’re just so good with each other. Oh, I really opted to buy them in sachets because it’s a lot convenient.

Lastly is my summer quencher.

llao llao Spanish Yogurt –

Their smoothies with yogurt ice cream on top is just the bomb! Literally craving it everyday. I have tasted many yogurt ice creams before and my high tolerance to sour tastes made me love them so dearly than any other ( I guess ) llao llao ( yao yao) sourness blends so well with everything concocts to it. All ends to a creamy balance that you will get hooked on.

There you have it my April Summer picks which I totally enjoyed for the whole month. See you again on my next monthly picks and see if we have some things in common.

Cathy Doll AA Automatic Aura Cream Review

My first encounter with the brand Cathy Doll was during the hype of Thai beauty products here in the Philippines, long before the Korean fad started. It was then that thousands of beauty and skincare products from Thailand are floating on my Instagram feed. The testimonials are really very convincing seeing how Thai women has come about such lovely and flawless skin synonymous to that of a Korean. To think that they also belong to the tropics country of Asia. So when my brother got the chance to visit Thailand, I specifically asked him to buy me a Cathy Doll. In fact I also made a review on one of the products he handed me when he got home. Unfortunately my happiness was cut short when I finished one bottle after the other. You see, though they are abundant on online sites you can’t be so sure that they are legit. Just imagine my happiness when finally after a year Cathy Doll has decided to venture business in the Philippine shores. You won’t be having difficulty anymore of finding your favourite product because they are already available here. Actually I was pretty much overwhelmed when I saw one of their stall in Watson’s. I can’t figure out what to buy! Until I finally decided to have their AA Cream.

What is AA Cream by the way?

I know you are all confused with the number of letter creams ( BB, CC, DD and ZZ ) coming out in the market nowadays. To what is their use? Benefits and the likes.

I really wonder what’s AA to be exact.

Automatic Aura is what Cathy Doll’s AA stands for. Usually from the letter itself that you’ll find its use like BB for Blemish Balm or CC for Color Correction.

This AA cream foundation provides incredibly lightweight texture like the air. This easy-to-blend formula automatically delivers an aura complexion all day long with the Auto Aura, Anti-Acne, and Anti-Aging effects. It provides perfect coverage and naturally smooth appearance to the skin. Moreover, it contains the properties of Tea Tree Oil that helps to control oil and reduces the occurrence of acne; Korean Herb Extract that helps to fade off dark spots caused by acne, while Titanium Dioxide brightens skin tone and protects skin from dullness with the 45x sunscreen protection benefit. This item is well-suited for every skin types including sensitive skin.”

I suppose from the name Aura it’ll give you that instant glow. I purchased the trial pack only which costs me Php 54.00 at Watson’s. They only have two color variants which is Light Beige and Natural Beige. I chose the latter since it’s leaning closer to my skin color but not exactly.

Here are the following thoughts on my Cathy Doll AA Automatic Aura Cream SPF 45 PA+++

  • Has a strong tea tree scent upon application but fades eventually
  • Turns grayish on skin
  • Creamy and thick consistency makes it easy to blend
  • Feels lightweight on the skin though it’s a little bit tacky upon application
  • Medium coverage
  • Good oil control coverage
  • Tends to emphasize some dry parts of my face
  • Matte finish
  • Good spectrum coverage ideal for summer ( SPF 45 PA+++)
  • Has a tendency to cake when applied with brush or by using your fingers.

As you can see it has a very thick consistency that I resent applying it using my fingers on first use.

I’m not sure if you noticed but it looked cakey on me. But surprisingly it held up to my face without the oilyness for 4 hours. Really not bad since the only oily place noticeable is around nose area.

As oppose to this one wherein I used a beauty blender. I love that it adhere to my skin very well though you might notice that it emphasizes the dry parts in my face ( side of nose and side of  mouth ) The freshness it gives due to its matte finish is very ideal for everyday specially this summer since it already has SPF 45 PA+++ in it.

Though it was never a love at first use I learned to work it’s way out to be a suitable companion this summer. It really pays that you have to try everything possible before you ditch a product. The only downside is the grayish color it gives to your skin making it difficult to find match. And I do hope they would have at least four color variants for the in between. Other than this, everything is workable.

Cathy Doll AA Automatic Aura Cream SPF 45 PA+++ is from the AA Series. Other product included is the Cathy Doll AA Matte Powder Cushion Oil Control SPF 50 PA+++

Picks of the Month

It’s the time of the month again ladies that we share our same likes or favorites. The month of March is the birth month of my dear mother. It is also the month where my father got to meet our Creator. I believe these events will forever be engraved in my being but I never thought that another life changing one will add up to this. Well anyways it’s another story to be told. As I gather all the things I noticed that most included in this segment are somewhat became my comfort. Things that had given me consolation in this trying times.
I’ll start with this scent that really uplifted my spirits everytime I use it. The name pretty much says it all. At the same time it’s smell is my prelude to summer.

Bath & Body Works White Citrus

Though March would usually be  hot and humid, we got to have the opposite. Since the global warming is pretty evident now almost for the whole month we experienced cold winds. And what a better time for this is to have coffee. I really am not an avid drinker but I’m keen on trying everything new that is out in the market. This two newly released got me hooked up.

Great Taste Double White which for me resembled Starbucks White Mocha and although this is not a coffee Coffeemate Salted Caramel has taken my ordinary coffee days to the next level. pixlr-2

Come latter week of the month that it became hotter than the previous, taking a shower seems to be my favorite pass time. Well figuratively, just because the heat is so much to bear that you’ll be thinking of taking a shower every now and then. And very timely that I got a new body shower to try out. After a few days, I’m officially loving it!

Dial Soothing Care pH Balanced Body Wash with Collagen simply takes my breath away every time I take a bath. Contrary to the last Dial Body Wash that I had, the effect of this one is quite similar to Healthy Moisture with Soy and Almond Milk ( also from Dial) It gives my skin that healthy glow and softness. Also I don’t bother applying lotion afterwards because it doesn’t dry up my skin. Surely the Collagen is working out here.2017-04-10-17-41-53

For almost half of the month that I haven’t had a good decent sleep. If this is the case, chances are breakouts will be popping out here and there. As predicted I actually had the cystic ones. I should really thank my brother for lending me his first aid solution to budding pimples. Calayan Skin Calming Solution has been my saving grace. InstaBox_201741217207685

I’m still with my usual stuff in terms of makeup since I always lean on the light ones and weather changed finding it still appropriate.

The month of March has changed me emotionally. It gave me a sense of maturity in an aspect of acceptance and moving forward. These guys have been with me, lifting my senses. I believed even though these were just petty ones incredibly they made me survive. Lastly, though it may sound cliche Blogging has kept my sanity and I couldn’t thank you enough my virtual friends for being with me. Until our next favorites.

Affordable Makeups for Graduation

Thursdays and Fridays for Instagram freaks are usually meant “throwbacks” and “flashbacks” ( with the hashtags of course) And for millennials (as what we called) and titas of Manila (which is more fitting for me, lol) we cringe whenever we see our photographs from way back. Be it baby pics, family reunion, office functions and the most timely graduation. Yep! Do you still remember those studio pictures that doesn’t even give justice ( to think it’s taken from the studio *roll eyes roll*) Those makeups that you don’t have any say at all just because you’re too scared to ruin the artistic vibes of the makeup artist or else her mood will be all over the place and you’re the one to blame. And those sky scrapper bangs. Ugh! It’s either I wasn’t able to move on or because I was hoping to share that achievement of my life to my children or grandchildren in the future but afraid of the mockery by my own kin. Anyways, gone were the days. At least now we could edit out our imperfections from different photo application. Or we could go to a salon to get ourselves fixed for the main event. But not all are for the shamcy fancy. Most are still opting for practicality like doing it their own since there are so many affordable stuffs now to choose from. It’s also a good investment for makeup enthusiast or those who wants to put up their own collection of necessities just in case a function needs it. So with this in mind, I’ve listed makeups, tools as well as shops that could be of help now that graduation is here.

First things first, let’s not put aside the natural beauty of a youthful skin. We should always bear in mind that we have to maintain that youthfulness by moisturizing our face. Moisturizers gives a very good base for your skin. It also helps to keep the makeup adhere more. The best to use are the light ones that are non-greasy such as Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer

via BDJbox

I know some are still skeptical in using moisturizers in a tropical country like ours but believe me this is a very good investment that your skin will surely thank you for someday. A 50ml tube retails for Php 115.

Next is to Prime. This event calls for long hours of waiting. Primers is like setting a good canvass for a good makeup. So if you still want your look to hold until the moment the Dean calls your name, girl you have to prime. A highly suggested, affordable and a very close dupe of Benefit Porefessional is Maybelline Baby Skin which solds for only Php 299.

via Maybelline Facebook page

Then we proceed to our good foundation. We have to put into consideration something that will look good under the lights and could withstand the long hours of waiting without melting. At the same time feels lightweight and finishes like a second skin. With this in mind I immediately thought of Wet n Wild Photofocus Foundation

via WetnWild.com

This retails for Php 525.

Moving on we go to our eyes. We would want to have our eyes speaks the joy we have for the said event so we would opt for the basic but at the same time looking professional. We need an eyeshadow product that we could use not only for this occasion but also after like job hunting right? So the Ever Bilena Brown Eyeshadow Palette is very suitable since it has beautiful nudes suited for a tame but business-like look. Retails at Php 150.

via Tackthis

Still with our eyes we now go to our brows. Some of you might still have virgin eyebrows. I highly suggest that you keep it that way. You might want to get rid of some strays to have a perfect shape. Other than that please don’t overdo. So many pays a grand just to have thick brows. Mumuso has a wide array of eyebrow pencils, eyebrow mascara and pen to choose from. The price is so affordable at Php 99 only.

via YouTuber Toni Sia

And we now go to the cheeks. Eventhough it’s a night ( well for the long wait) event I suggest to still have that naturally looking flush. Don’t be scared that it won’t last till picture taking time. Going overboard is not a valid excuse. We wouldn’t want to be looking like a clown on this occasion. Remember if we have a good foundation/base  our blush will stick with us through thick and thin. Detail Cosmetic’s Influential and Ever Bilena Fig are both very flattering on our Filipina skin. These two are also versatile by serving as a contour and eyeshadow as well. Very affordable at Php 175.

Still on our windows to the soul is a very dependable Mascara.  It is very inevitable that we’ll shed tears of joy so we must be needing a waterproof but at the same time could hold our peppers curl intact after that situation. What better more that I could think of is none other than Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara. For only Php 199, those eyes is worth fluttering.

via Maybelline.com

Last but not the least is the lips. After the ceremony, we will be exchanging kisses with our parents as our gratitude for this milestone. Friends, classmates and teachers that we won’t be seeing for awhile. So what a better way to be prepared for this is to have a long lasting lip color that will stay with us. Something that we will comfortably wear all throughout even at the after party, right? So Maybelline Color sensational Matte lipstick is very much forgiving on this. Lips will still look hydrated even though it’s matte. I chose a color that very much accentuates our morena skin but at the same time would look fresh and natural in the shade Touch of Spice. This retails for only Php 299. And if you were lucky, you could avail for a good discount with their ongoing sale.

Makeup is complete, we now go with the tools. You could find affordable makeup brushes and sponges as well as hair tools for the do at Divisoria’s 168. At Php 250 you could already own a decent set of makeup brushes and for Php50 a beauty blender. But if you don’t have the patience to conquer the world of divi I must say Landmark is the place to be. They also sell affordable brushes that are Korean made and eyelashes. I got this egg blender there for only Php99.

Graduation is the end and at the same time the beginning of another chapter in our life. I believe no makeups could amount to the inner joy of having completed this course. That alone is picture perfect. Also let us not forget our parents for the sacrifices they had in order for us to achieve this success. We owe it all to them. To the graduates of 2017, Congratulations!

Picks of the Month

New year, new name. Monthly Favorites have been the solid mainstay of every blog, like mine. It’s one segment in every blogger that I look forward to come every first week of the month. That sneaky feeling of coveting someone’s favorite and trying them out to see how well it really works. If you’re lucky, you could find a gem and share it also to your friends. If not, you try to figure out where you’ve gone wrong. That at least for me. You might find some products familiar since maybe it’s also included in your lists. So for the month of January-February combined, here are my picks.

Pink Sugar Our ‘lil Secret Concealer

Making on the lists of Preview’s top beauty picks of 2016, this concealer didn’t really caught me at first use I should say. The romance didn’t work beacuse I find it too drying and tight causing to crease in every place that I put it. I was at the brink of handing it to someone that will find it of best use but I stopped myself. I had this habit of giving a product some rest upon it’s first use or prior to opening. I don’t know if you also do this but sometimes when these products were given some enough shelf time before you use it again, they seem to work pretty much effective than they originally do. If that makes sense. So on the second time around, this was already my baby. I use it to conceal my under eyes since the shade that I choose is a bit lighter than my tone. They still tend to dry up into patches but I know my trick now. Dabbing it with a lil moisturizer or moisturize the area that you are suppose to use this to avoid caking. And it also helps that I apply it using a beauty blender.

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream

BB Creams doesn’t really do well on my face. Aside that it’s too oily, I couldn’t find any that will give a good coverage. I usually would end having breakouts after using failing me on the attempt of finding the perfect one. And so I gave up thinking that BB Creams would just only work well for those who have semi-perfect skin or the younger ones who only has a little imperfections. No large pores like mine. So when I found of last year that a lot of my favorite vlogger who also has the oily skin type as mine, swore by this product I quickly added it on my wish list. But I still have to lower my expectations and don’t give in right away and find a at least trial size first so I wouldn’t cry that much in the end. Indeed this by far has lived up to my hopes and expectations. What to love about this product is that it makes you skin radiant and glowing that no other bb creams that I tried hsas given me. The perfect dew that keeps your skin looking healthy not oily.

Garnier Miscellar Water

I guess you could say that I’ve been living under the rock for sometime now. Yes, I do wanted to have a miscellar water to help me with my makeup. But with the height of it and the countless brands in the market, my chosy self is the main culprit why I took so long. I really haven’t gotten any to at least try on and base my comparison. I just simply jumped into the best. So far, their  complaints would be stinging especially in getting off that eye makeup which I really hate. And I guess my long wait has paid off when I chose Garnier. The only down side is that it couldn’t help on taking off my Heroine Make Mascara.

Kiss Me Heroine Make Long and Curl Mascara

I have a very sparse and short eyelashes and my eyes hurt whenever I use a mascara. I really would love falsies but I couldn’t perfect putting them on just yet. So I wonder if there is a mascara that would have a similar effect as putting those falsies on. And yes there is and I found it in Heroine Make. I love that it could really make your lashes look naturally longer in a long, really long period of time without wearing off or smudging. Proof to it is that no makeup remover can get this thing off your eyes. You really need to buy their mascara remover.

Ipuda Facial Masks

Ipuda may not be your leading masks as for the quality of sheets per se but the thing is for me, a good masks is the one who is soaked in an overflowing serum which suprisingly I found in this product. I often had so much left from the serum that I soak another facial sheet tablet ( available in Daiso, Mumuso and Miniso) in it and it’s good for another use. What to love more is that this is so affordable that you won’t have any trouble stacking and following the Korean skin care routine every night with this.

Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint

I recently did a review on this lip tint and from the moment of purchase it was love at first use. I must say that OR01  is surprisingly my favourite amongst three even if it’s RD01’s the main reason why I bought this was. One of the lip tints that didn’t gave me a chappy lips after a day long use. It’s also nice to have these cute little wine bottles in your makeup kit.

I wish to add more unfortunately I lost track of the products in my vanity. But surely I’ll be seeing you again next month and let’s have fun counting a lengthy list.

Baking or Jamsu? Which works better

I stumbled upon Jamsu  which means submerging thru Facebook. The word originated in Korean and it’s their version I believe of Baking. Contrary to the latter, Koreans doesn’t dust off the excessive translucent or loose powder on their face but dunks it in a bowl of cold water. Intriguing isn’t it? Korean being the trendsetter in makeup trends, who wouldn’t give this a try?Since the arrival of baking up to the present day, I have been introduced to different ways of how this technique is done. Primarily it just started with the under eyes to prevent it from creasing and withstand the day without looking mummified. Until it goes on to the whole face, to set everything and make it lasts. I did try though but not religiously. Yes, it upholds to it’s promise and really for an oily combo skin like mine, there’s more that I need to bake.

Then after a year, Jamsu came up. I’m not really a professional in terms of makeup. I just rely on what I believe will look best on me. So when I saw and read how this new makeup technique came to be, I immediately thought of comparing it to know which one works best and share this experience to you. So far amongst Filipina vloggers, only a few have tried and reviewed this so it hasn’t really penetrated deep yet. I must say the finished product is really promising which I admit, what compelled me to try and feel it for myself. If this succeeds, well I’ll sing my bye bye’s now to oiliness.

Getting ready with the procedure, I used San San Matte Finish liquid foundation for my face and Pink Sugar Our lil Secret Concealer for my under eyes. My inspiration is to go all local with my makeup brands particularly on these two basic ones.

And for my loose powder, this one has been with me for quite sometime now. Unfortunately the name of the brand is not imprinted in the label. It is of your preference what to use in this step, actually the first that I have in mind is to use Johnson’s Baby Powder. If you noticed I still used a matte finish for my foundation just for an optimum results of being an oily faced and applied it using a damp beauty blender.

And so I go on to the main event of this technique which is the submerging of that face into cold water. This should last for 30 seconds or merely counting thirty. You could go up every now and then if you think that you feel drowning. I was told that for oily 3o would suffice but for normal to dry, 20 will do. Prior to the dunking you shouldn’t forget to put a generous amount of loose powder to year face. The best image that I could think for this is kabuki

Yes, be as white as a kabuki. After the submersion, pat dry your face. Do not rub or it will take away that foundation. Wait for a few minutes to settle. Don’t fret if you’ll see some caking, I think it’s the initial reaction of the powder to the cold water. Eventually it’ll take form of what you expect it to be. Super matte finish.

My Thoughts

I noticed that there’s some caking under my eyes. I actually fret a little so my initial defense was dab it with the damp beauty blender. But it did came out well, and I really am true to my word saying this. The texture of the skin looks soft and kinda peachy. Though I must say that the color difference between my face and neck is really o-vi-ous! It’s just a teeny weeny problem. And since the powder who acts as a sealer really adds up to the color, it is suggested that you go one tone lower than you’re usual color of foundation. That is if the color change really overwhelmes you. For me it eventually sets to my skin color so I didn’t mind. Other than that, I’m impressed. The matte finish for me isn’t flat looking. And the application of blush is just perfect. At first I remind myself to not go overboard with my blush, you know not steady hands. Suprisingly I was able to control the amount that I want and it just glides on so smoothly. The idea of baking is to allow the heat of your face to set the base foundation and concealer wheareas in jamsu you let the cold set your base. Baking takes 10 minutes to take but jamsu with all the preparation of the cold water and stuff, will take you to 20-30.The entirety of the technique will give you a whole day of smudge proof, fresh looking face. I swear! I didn’t get this on baking for I usually end all oiled up in the afternoon. But jamsu is very forgiving on just making my face a little dewy at the end of the day. I just noticed that the first to oil up is my nose but what really gave me the infinite go is my laugh lines. The foundation that I used, in any brand always settles on this area. But Jamsu washed those fears away.

For Filipinas on the go, this isn’t really commendable. I must say that if you really, really would like to incorporate this on your makeup routine before going to work, spare some time ahead. You may come in your office with a bang but still, late. So just stick to baking instead. But if you will to attend a function, gathering or event that needs a superlative beauty to lasts, I highly recommend this.

Up close with Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint

Hello Ladies! 💋

I believe I owe you a very warm greetings since there are so many occasions that’s been missed and Oh! how I miss our interactions. How long has it been? Very!..

I’ve been contemplating a lot what to put up first. Will it be the empties, favorites or simply do an intro for the new year? Say I chose what I feel the most comfortable on doing which is this lip tint review. So here we are.

It’s actually lip tints that I’m addicted to. Or is it? *smiles* I find myself always wanting what’s new where in fact there are still of the same hue. Rhyming! I know we all makeup lovers do. Anyways, going to with my “what’s new”, you might be wondering why would someone hoard on liptints. I mean you could perfectly understand why we would love to own a lipstick eventhough mostly are of the same color BUT there’s a variety right? Texture, formula, finish and price. With liptints, aside from the color variation, is there any thing that you could think of? ( comment down below 👍😁)

Longevity I believe is the sole category for any liptint hunting. Hmmm.. I guess any liptints would. But just imagine when a brand gives you this promise? Of course who won’t give in.  So when I finished watching Tina Yong review on Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tints, I told myself “where on earth will I find these?!”

Chateau Labiotte although sounding French is actually a Korean brand. Very fascinating though that they also have their skincare line. I believe it’s a good move for this makeup company to be noticed in Westen countries in putting up a name that is very French. I even got caught with the marketing strategy thinking this must be worth something. Actually the brand name is simply Labiotte and from my understanding, this company mainly focuses on botanical infused products. And you should check out their skincare line, so promising indeed.
As I said that this liptint must have worth something.. sure is. The fact that it’s Korean brand and new in the Philippine online market must have cost me so much. I found that this is available in full and trial size (7g and 3g respectively).

photo from labiotteus.com

And because a full size costs around Php 600-700, the wise girl will opt for the trial size. There are 6 color variants ( 3 reds, ranging from light to darkest. 1 orange, 1 coral and 1 pink) I was lucky to have found a trusted seller online thru lipsticklover (also a personal friend) that I was able to snag a deal of 3 for the price of Php 500.

photo from Beauty Box Korea

I was actually in die need of the RD01. What I got were 3 mini sized cute little wine bottles with colors RD01, OR01 and CR01.

Thoughts on the liptint

The first one that I got to try was the OR01. Im not sure if you noticed but Koreans do love their orange don’t they? Always present in every lipstick brands. Anyways, as I told, longevity is what got me. The promise is that it could stand for a whole ( even the following day??! Really??) day without touch up. That’s my kind of liptint there! Going back, orange for the brave so I was surprised though I wasn’t thinking that I could pull it off but their orange is applaudingly a good color match for my Filipina skin-tone.

RD01 is very bold red but not intimidating, build it up and it could pass for a bare-face-red-lips kind of makeup.

CR01 if you noticed is very subtle in color. If you aren’t for a heavy colored tints, this number will happily suit your lips.

These lip tints has a faint wine scent in it accompanied with a tad bitter taste which is very tolerable. The qualities of a wine was really embodied in this product that also adds up to its character. The only difference is this won’t make you tipsy. Texture is creamy actually as opposed to the usual liquidy lip tints in the market. I must say that if you will wear it full not the gradient type of application, it would definitely lasts you a whole day. I find that I could still see a faint color stain the day after. The best part for me is that it didn’t dry my lips.

Recommendations

If you are a liptint fanatic like me but still in doubt whether to purchase the full size, I suggest that you look for an available trial size first. This would really cost you less. Aside from the availability problem, color variant is just so-so for me. I couldn’t expect more for a Korean makeup line with their color preference though but fortunately their orange is a thumbs up. Although it costs a bit high from other leading liptints but if you love this, it’s more convenient to buy the full size because indeed it will last you a lifetime considering the longevity matter per se. Packaging, I really have to give a hands down to the creative minds behind this. I appreciate it much to have a neat wine-sampler-looking-liptint inside my makeup bag. So adorable! Ending my review I would give this a 8/10 only because of the color variants.

I enjoyed it very much whenever I get to review and share my thoughts with you bearing in mind that like me, women out there would like to know a non-bias opinion first before diving in. Let’s all get our money’s worth.

Until next time lovelies!
